I can not help but let you look at a picture from Johanna & Martin’s wedding from last Saturday. As you can see they where great looking and although the weather was fantastic the couple was most beautiful.

Sometimes things turn out great. Two of my absolute best friends met for the first time almost two years ago. On my wedding. Martin from the gang of childhood friends and Johanna from the new friends. Katarina and I had placed them next to each other without considering that they both were singles. It was more with the thought that probably would have fun together. Same interests and such you know..
And it seemed that we did right. They are getting married now. And I have had the honor to photograph their day and evening. There are a thousand different superlatives one can use to describe how I feel but I will hold back the words.
Here’s the pictures from the engagement session we did this Monday. It started with heavy rain but after a while we could leave protective terrace go out and take some pictures in the garden.

Saturday in Gothenburg and an amazing day, Camilla and Frederick’s fantastic wedding day. strong>
It’s a little rain in the air but who cares!? We meet outside the hotel Novotel, close to Röda Sten, in the harbor of Gothenburg, where Frederick is waiting for his bride, and it shows all over his face how happy he is. Just look at the reaction when Camilla arrives..
That’s how the day goes on, so full of laughter, joy and love. The marriage is in St. Birgittas Chapel, at Klippan, ending with ”Signed, sealed, delivered” (original by Stewie Wonder) where the priest play the bass, and the bride and groom is dancing out!
The sun comes and goes during the portraits at Färjenäs and we have so much fun, like when Fredrik discovers the trampoline and Camilla are not late to join! On the way out to the party in Långedrag we stop at their old apartment. They’ve spotted a great wall there, covered with red leaves.
Mingle with sandwiches and Swedish fortune cookies with personalized messages (even one to the photographer!) The party is at the restaurant Långedrags värdshus just by the water. Camilla and Frederick has really managed to put their own style on the whole thing with mass of details and fun elements, such as seating arrangements with images associated to each party participant – absolutely brilliant! After the champagne the party continues with dinner. And as I leave I hear the laughs..

Last Saturday when I went from Gothenburg the sky was gray and it was rain in the air. Towards and past Borås and eventually, I arrived at an oasis I’ve never been at before. On a cape with lakes on both sides was the stunning Hofsnäs herrgård (Hofsnäs mansion). It was not only incredibly beautiful, the weather also went from rain to sunshine!
Daniel celebrated midsummer when he was a kid and now when they where gonna choose a place of marriage, the choice was easy. The wedding was small with only the closest friends and family and it where held just down by the water.
It was a true pleasure to capture their love and I can’t wait to show you the entire wedding. But until then, you get this little preview …

I have just delivered the photos to Anders Björler (Grammy winning guitarist of the Haunted and At the Gates) who is going to release his first solo album. The album is really interesting and is a mix of everything from classical music, jazz, progressive rock and especially film music. Incredibly fun to show you the first picture taken inside the Natural History Museum in Gothenburg.

Read more about Anders and the project which is called Antikythera on his website, www.andersbjorler.com.

This Saturday Helena and Aaron got married inside the Palm House in the Trädgårdsföreningen in Gothenburg. It was the first wedding this year for me and as always, it was hard to hold back the tears behind the camera.
I thought you would like to see a small preview of some of the portraits we took. Some outdoors and some in side the palm house.
Here’s Aaron & Helena!

Today I shoot the first wedding of the year. There are the gorgeous Helena and Aaron who marry in Trädgårdsföreningen in Gothenburg. Here are pictures from our e-session. Preview from the wedding will come later next week ..

Johanna and Jacob’s wedding was in many ways a very personal wedding for me. They chose to get married in the fall and in the ”Stora Holms Säteri” on Hisingen in Gothenburg. And it was the same season and the same place as I got married a year before. But we will not talk about me. This is Johanna and Jacob’s wedding day. And what day they had, sunshine and even more sunshine. It was even warm though it was late October.
Johanna and Jacob is really a nice couple, you know, calm. Nice and relaxed. Stylish as well. And they have good taste. Everything was very nicely fixed in the premises. Stylish and bright. And Johanna, who fixed her own dress herself. With a simple brooch in her hair, also her own…
But finally, my words: Johanna & Jacob, thanks for letting me be part of your big day. Talk to you again soon…
So much is there to say but I choose to show…

PS. If you want then you can also look at their e-session here.
Atronic making solutions for payments. Much more than that, I do not know. Last summer, I got the assignment to photograph the board of the company when they, for once, were gathered in Gothenburg.
The assignment was to capture them in a bit more relaxed and free situation than a normal studio shooting. We went out of the restaurant where they were having the meeting in and took some pictures. The pictures are taken under one roof in the pouring rain and I took up to 5 minutes per person.

After these photos, I then asked to take photos of staff in the same way. These photos where taken outside of their office in Hisingen.

On Thursday, you will get to see a lot of this super nice couple, Johanna and Jacob, and their fabulous autumn wedding.

When Helen contacted me to shoot her wedding, we decided more or less directly that we would meet and talk. Since Aron is working at sea it took a little time before we got to it. Anyway, we sat down over a cup of coffee and talked about their wedding photo, the engagement session and a lot more. It really nice to get to know them. But it was also really exciting, Aron told me a lot about his work on the icebreaker, they told me about trips they’ve done, and much more. And when we talked further about settings for the wedding day we suddenly got it…
M / S Stockholm, a boat that Aron worked at some summers and Helena traveled with was in port Gothenburg to be winter-fixed. And we got free access. It’s a ship that during the summer brings tourists and scientists to Svalbard, to see polar bears and the incredible environment. It is a ship built in the 50ths after 1940-century drawings and have kept all the little details since. The ship was used in Peter Dalles new movie ” An enemy to die for ”.
The E-session was on board and around the ship. We started to go a little tour and take some pictures on deck and then we went ashore for a short walk. After that we went aboard and even went down into the engine room. Who knows, maybe it will become a white dress down there too?!
The whole time it was really super nice. Both Helena and Aron is one of those wonderfully relaxed and nice couple. A couple that you want to be friends with. Furthermore, their wedding to be super good looking!!! That I know! But until then you will have to make do with their engagement session from this december!

I haven’t blogged in a really long time. I hope to change that now because I really have super much that I want to show you.
Last Friday my sister Sofia visited. She needed to have a few pictures to her CV and when we were satisfied with the usual photos so we took the opportunity to play a little. Here you can see one of the later images.
This will just be the start of a spring with lots and lots of posts!
Talk to you again soon!
Friends, Now it’s time for me to show the first wedding of 2012, and the first where I was only an assistant.
A wedding that lasted for 2 days and where I was 2a-photographer and assisted the amazing Sonia Jansson.
A wedding where all the money went to the Heart Research for children.
A wedding at St Bridget’s Chapel, and a party at Stora Moss Kullen.
In short, Sarah & Craig’s wedding.

Some times you can’t wait!
I photographed Johanna & James this Saturday. You know that couple that I had a e-session with last spring. And now, the waiting is over. Now, finally, it was their big day. And what a day. Brilliant sunshine and glorious autumnal crispness and an absolutely fantastic nice day.
And even though the weather was absolutely incredibly beautiful, it’s nothing against them. Amazingly beautiful! Look and see for your self. I know that a preview should not be much more than one or maybe two shots. But I can not stop myself. I can not wait!

It is a couple of weeks ago now. A couple of weeks since the lovely Malin & Peter got married. Right at this moment I’m working with their images so they can get a delivery later in the week. Obviously, I will show you everything later, but before that here’s a little sneak preview of a few favorites. I give you …
The stunning Malin & Peter, the preview.

”Hello Oskar,
it looks like it will rain on Sunday so we’ve found a pretty cool garage that we had borrowed the keys to. It is located on Magasinsgatan. Do you think it might work? ”
I shoot Malin & Peter’s wedding on the 12th August, and afterwards I made a little slide show to them. I tried to capture the feeling of their amazing day and wedding. I feel like I succeeded quite well. It do has swedish music, but you might like it anyway?!
Would you like to see it you just have to look into here
Love!
I don’t think I have to explain it any further, but next week I’ll give you the biggest preshoot submission ever.
