Preview of Karin & Davids windy wedding in Tylösand Sweden

On Saturday I was in the Tylösand. On the way down the rain was pouring down so much that we had to slow down the car. But all the time I felt calm, somewhere I knew it was going to be an absolutely amazing wedding no matter the weather. And when we arrived it started to clear up. It was as windy as the previous visit but who cares about a little wind when you have important things to do. Karin and Davids wedding!

They’re one of those couples that you can not help liking a lot. They are so incredibly varm, nice, fun, happy, and as you can see: Really good looking too. The wedding was in the hot, cramped and beautiful St. Olof’s chapel. The portraits were taken directly at the sea before the party then continued at restaurant Salt at the beach.

Kajsa & Torbjörn added to the porfolio

Last week I added the wedding of Kajsa & Torbjörn to the portfolio.

It was a full day feature from early morning ’til closing time. The wedding was at a very unique place and it was one of the best nights, ending with all the guest singing for the couple before closing down. You can see Kajsa & Torbjörn’s day here.

It’s been pretty quiet for a while..

.. but that’s gonna change really soon.

I’m having a good week so far. Some meetings with wedding customers, one big photoshoot booked for a corporate client and the delivery of this guy’s wedding.
I’m hoping to give you more in just a couple of days but in the meantime, here he is:

Patrik looking good with a smile...

Thank You!

I recieved a mail from a customer and it surly made my week. It’s a fantastic feeling having customers writing stuff like this and it made me really proud! Thank you guys for letting me capture your day. It’s written in Swedish but I’ll let google translate it for you.

Hello again Oskar!

Thank you for the wonderful pictures! We are more than satisfied and will definitely recommend you to all our friends who might need a photographer. The pictures speaks for themselves but also because you were attentive and knew what we had in mind from the outset and that you and Katta made the shoot so nice and relaxed!

Two portfolio weddings updated

When I first released this webpage I did a quick export of some of my weddings for the portfolio. Since then I had far too much to do and too little time to worry about it. But now, during the winter, I’ve started to update the weddings in portfolio one by one.

The first two wedding was of SOPHIA & RICHARD and of LINA & FREDRIK. Both of these weddings are very special to me, not only because they are among the first ones I did professionaly but also because it was those that made me fall in love with weddingphotography. And made me want to do this for at least 100%.

First, a kiss from Sophia & Richard and below, Lina & Fredrik on a bench. Click on each photo to see the full coverage…

Jenny ♥ Peter. An autumn wedding in Gothenburg

Peter contacted me through a mutual friend and wanted me to shoot their wedding. First, all contacts was between me and Peter and it wasn’t until the meeting I finally met Jenny. That’s kind of unusual, not having any contact with the bride. As you can see, it worked out pretty good anyhow. Or even better.

Well, Peter and Jenny been together for a long time. 9 years I think. They got 2 lovely boys and they got two socker-teams. Peter love IFK and Jenny love ÖIS. Two different teams. But as they said; this will be a draw game. 1-1 was the theme. And without further due, the lovelly, funny and great couple, Jenny & Peter.

Autumn wedding

The summer is the most busy time for us wedding photographers. But each time has it’s charm and it’s colors. Be sure to use them.

Autumn break

It seems like I’ve shot my last wedding for 2011. It’s been a really great year with lots of lots of fun, laughs, emotions and great people.

I think all my couples been great and all of them has been really good looking. Somehow it seems fitting to end it with an autumn wedding between Jenny and Peter. A wonderful, funny and of cause great looking couple.
But right now, all you get is the flowers.

The waltz is all about practice..

It sure is quite a lot of new situations on a wedding, I mean it’s not every day you dance a waltz in front of the 50 closest of your friends and family.

Well practice make perfect!

Got ya!

On each day there are thousands and thousands of moments. Most of them aren’t that important but there are those that you don’t want to miss or ever forget. On a day like a wedding or a birthday there are more moments than ever. When your child is young or you love is new. More than you can to remember. You get a flood of impressions and you want to save them all.

Other days you have almost nothing. A rainy Tuesday with a cold. You wish you could forget.

But be sure to live each moment and save those who count.

Like this one…

Carolina & Patrik in Landvetter part 1

You know those times you meet someone for the first time, and all though you already spoken and mailed with them, you almost get surprised how nice and funny they are.
This couple was like this. Carolina & Patrik is both from Sweden but they live in Norway and they met in Denmark I think. Anyway, they went home and got married in Carolinas old hometown Landvetter just outside of Gothenburg. There were guests from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Island.. And you could hear all the languages in some kind of great mix.

I first met only with Carolina to plan the photos. She was so funny and really pleasant and it wasn’t until the big day that I got to meet Patrik as well. I shouldn’t get surprised but somehow I did, he was just as good as his bride. This was a really funny wedding, we had lots of laughter as you can see on some of the photos.

A forgotten moment

I was going through and editing a wedding and all of a sudden I saw and image I couldn’t remember seeing before… Well, it’s not the first time. During a photoshoot I’m usually so much in the moment that I forget everything 2 minutes after it happened. I could only guess how much the bride and groom remember. Probably a whole lot less than me.

Hopefully the images will take you back to your day, and to the funny/wonderful/lovelly/happy/great/laughable moment that you forgot. Like the one I forgot:

A day at home

Today I’m staying home, just going out to get some dinner but other than that it’s editing all day. So much fun and I stumbled upon this images when I when quickly went through the thousands of photos that I’m working on today.

I can’t say what it is, but I really love this photo. It some how capture so much of the day, and so much of being a wedding photographer: Your always there, every moment. Often on the other side of things and you always trying to find a new angle to capture their beautiful and lovely story. Here’s one of those moments.

Last preview of Johanna and Joel from Vann

I’m really looking forward to show you the complete day I had with the lovely couple Johanna and Joel. We all had a fun and joyful day and I love how the images turned out. Tonight I will send them the last batch of photos, but I’ll give you a little sneak peek right now.

Here’s three more from their day. These are taken at the beautiful Hotel Vann, a few of miles north of Gothenburg and Uddevalla. If you want to see the other previews from their day, please check here and here. Spread it and like it if you enjoy the photos!

Another sneak peek from Trädgårdsföreningen in Gothenburg

Now I got permission to show the lovely couple Jenny & Anders. First they had a small picnic with the closest family and their children and later we took some portraits in the beautiful Trädgårdsföreningen, a park in Gothenburg. I really enjoyed photographing the two of them. Such easygoing and pleasant persons. And I loved their style. Simple but nice!

If you want to see the first sneak peek you’ll find it here.
